I normally use a dark brown eye shadow to fill in my eyebrows and give them a bit of shape, but for a change I fancied giving an eyebrow pencil a go. I thought I would go for a cheapie to start and went for MUA – I have not tried anything from this brand yet so killed two birds with one stone. I opted for the brunette shade as I thought the blonde shade looked a little too light and it comes with a handy eyebrow brush on the other end too. At £1 I think this is a bit of a bargain for what you get, the colour is nice, it glides on really easily and the brush helps to blend and shape. Overall a good buy for a quid! The only difficulty with me is that I have blonde hair (ahem not natural) but have naturally dark eyebrows, so I don’t want to make by brows look like ( as my husband kindly said when I was having a play around) two dark slugs on my face! Charming. So there is a fine line between getting it right and over doing it, I think using the blending brush more and the pencil less is the key to this one for me. Next time I will try a lighter shade but not sure if it will be as effective- any suggestions?
Wow it looks great! Cant believe it was so cheap - thats awesome! It went on very naturally.

I don't use eyebrow pencils often because I feel like I look too intense. LOL

I love the shape of your brows. The pencil looks really good, especially only being a £1.
ReplyDeleteI might have to pick one up, although like you, i tend to use an eyeshadow to fill in my brows. sometimes pencil can be a bit too intense :)
