I bought these three little pots as part of the 3 for 2 offer on at boots, so overall it cost me about a fiver which I think is reasonable for what I got. They are all 50ml so are good for travel or if like me you just want to test something out before you buy a large pot then it is ideal. I would say the pot gives you 1 & 1/2 goes.
The first one I tried was the Scrub 'em and Leave 'em body buff and used while in the bath and then rinsed off in the shower. It consists of small pink beads and bigger pieces of salt (see the pink swatch below) - which did the trick to buff away old skin but I found the large chunks of salt were flying everywhere (maybe im just messy!) The Babassu oil left my skin a little greasy and did not need any body cream after. I think that oils do not suit my skin type!
The second one (and my favourite) is the Flake Away body scrub, which compared to the Scrub 'em and Leave 'em had very fine grains. I preferred the finer grain because it felt like I was getting a more intense scrub and really felt refreshed after (see the brown swatch below)
I followed this with The Righteous Butter which has more of a cream consistency so it sank in quickly but I would not really call it a body butter. Having said that I did really like this and it smells gorgeous! all three are quite perfumed, you might want to avoid using them just before bed if smells irritate you at night.
Overall - Flake Away I would buy this scrub again, The Righteous Butter - was nice but I think I will try something else next time, Scrub 'em and Leave 'em - not for me
they all look really yummy!!!!

I adore the scent of the body butter and sugar scrub.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't too keen on the Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em either to be honest.
I much preferred the other two - I tried the mini samples though so I wasn't left with a big pot !
