Almost Daily Diary #1

So here we go, day one of the fitness/health challenge. I woke up feeling relatively motivated for the day, already thinking ahead of what I was going to have for dinner lol! I have decided I am not starting the Rodial Crash Diet sachets until Friday as I do not have anyone one to cook for over the weekend so it will be easier for me to start then. I am aiming to eat between 1100 & 1200 calories a day.

What I have eaten today:

Breakfast: Nature valley oat bar 198 cals

Lunch: Pack of cooked turkey chunks 100 cals, Cheese & onion baked crisps 101 cals (ok so I know I said no crisps but this was the last pack in the house!) bit of a random lunch but I had a busy day

Snack: a banana 100 cals

Dinner: Weight watchers chicken hotpot 226 cals & some veg - broccoli, carrot and leek & cabbage about 80 cals - this meal on its own is way to small for me so I bulk it up with veg, I think this is probably two of my five a day

Drinks: 2 cups of coffee with skimmed milk, 1 ltr bottle of sparkling peach & Apricot water 20 cals
2 cups of Green tea with pineapple & grape fruit, 1 glass of pepsi max, 1 cup of tea with skimmed milk

Calories today: 825! this is not including the milk in my tea/coffee so I need to work that out. I do not feel hungry now, feel surprisingly full! so wont eat any more, its important to listen to your body and know if you need to eat more or not. If I do get hungry I will have some fruit.

Exercise:
I forced myself to do 10 minutes on the treadmill - tomorrow it will be 15

Thoughts of the day:
I drove past a sign for a local sausage & cider festival, sounds awesome! Alcohol and fat together probably not the best for day one of the diet. Although Cider is not wine is it...

I had to wash up some really mouldy cups at work this morning, that kept the hunger pangs at bay

Only had 3 of my five a day - must have at least 4 tomorrow

  2. the weight watchers meal are quite nice. There is a chicken with tomato and basil and wedges that's lovely.
